This Privacy Policy explains how Landereien (“we”, “us”) treats information when you visit landereien.com, request a home-improvement consultation, subscribe to studio notes, or otherwise write to us. We design kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms for private households; we treat the details of those homes with the same care we give to joinery and paint.
This website’s forms run in your browser. They do not currently send data to a Landereien server by themselves. If you complete a form you will see an on-screen confirmation. If you later email us, or if a connected service is added, the principles below still describe how we intend to handle personal information related to home-improvement enquiries.
It covers visitors to the website, people who submit enquiry or newsletter forms, households considering or commissioning improvements, suppliers and collaborators who write to us, and anyone who sends a testimonial. It does not cover third-party websites you reach via share buttons or external font and image networks, which have their own policies.
Depending on the form or message, this may include your name, email address, optional telephone number, the rooms you wish to improve, budget range, preferred timing, photographs of existing spaces, and the story of how you live in the house. For newsletters we need an email address and, if you choose to provide it, a first name. For testimonials we may publish a first name and project type if you agree.
If work proceeds, we may hold measured drawings, specifications, material choices, access notes, snag lists, and photographs of the rooms before, during, and after the improvement. These records exist so we can design safely, brief trades, and support aftercare. They are not used for unrelated marketing.
Servers and browsers typically log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate time of visit. We do not use this site to build advertising profiles. If analytics are introduced later, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent.
We do not ask for payment card numbers through public website forms. We do not require government identity documents to browse the site. We do not publish a visitor log of who requested a kitchen or a bath.
We use personal information to:
We do not sell personal information. We do not rent enquiry lists. We do not share household floor plans with unrelated marketers.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for newsletters and optional photography); steps at your request before a contract, and performance of a project agreement; our legitimate interests in running a careful studio and securing the site, balanced against your rights; and legal obligations such as keeping invoices for the required period. You may withdraw consent for marketing without affecting a live construction contract.
We share information only as needed:
Share buttons in the footer send the page address to the social network you choose; that network then processes the action under its own policy. We do not receive the content of your private social account from those buttons.
Enquiry messages that do not become projects are kept only as long as needed to reply and to understand repeated questions, then deleted or archived in a form that no longer identifies you. Project files—drawings, specifications, and photographs—are kept for the life of aftercare and for the period our insurers and tax rules expect, then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You may ask us to erase marketing data at any time.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small design-and-craft studio: limited access to project folders, unique credentials for staff, and care when sending drawings. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive data in a first public form. If you believe your information has been misused, write to us using the contact page.
landereien.com may be viewed from many places. If we process information across borders, we will do so with appropriate safeguards required by the laws that apply to us. This policy does not claim a particular national establishment; it describes our practice wherever the studio corresponds with you by email.
Our services are for adult householders and their appointed representatives. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted a form, contact us and we will delete the message.
Before-and-after photographs help us design and, with consent, help other households understand our work. We avoid publishing faces of children, identifiable street numbers, or documents left on kitchen counters. You may refuse portfolio use; refusal does not affect the quality of the improvement we deliver.
This static site does not set advertising cookies. Your browser may store ordinary preferences. Third-party fonts, icons, or images loaded from public networks may set their own cookies according to those networks. You can block cookies in your browser; the pages will still describe our services.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise a request, use the contact form or email hello@landereien.com and describe what you need. We may ask you to confirm the email address the request relates to so we do not disclose another household’s project.
You may unsubscribe from studio notes on the unsubscribe page. That action does not cancel a project agreement or delete drawings needed to complete or warrant the work.
When our services, tools, or legal duties change, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or mentioned in a newsletter if you subscribe. Continued browsing after an update means you have seen the new text.
Write through the contact form or to hello@landereien.com with the subject “Privacy”. We do not list a public telephone number or postal counter on this website, so that first contact remains documented and considered. A representative will respond in writing.
